Irin

Messengers, observers, guardians, and instruments of the King's wrath.

The King helps his people when he chooses, usually through the Irin. The Dreadspawn are to Dreadthorn what the Irin are to the King.
Notes
There are no elves in Emberdown. The Irin fill the role the lore gives them. See No Traditional Fantasy Race Names.
Humans were made in the image of the Irin but corrupted themselves with greed, lust, avarice, and violence. See Humans.
