Prices and Pay
Details
The economy centers on guild operations, the availability of gems and crystals, and location.
Notes
Where things cost more
Goods cost more in cities, where wealth concentrates, and less in rural areas. They cost less in the west and more in the east, and availability follows the same pattern.
Working price anchor
A chicken costs 1/5 Crown in rural areas, 2/5 in an average-size town, and 3/5 in a big city. Guild policy, regulation, and action can adjust the price (the farmers guild, for chickens). In cities, merchants sell chickens, so the merchants guild takes a cut, and the two guilds make agreements with each other. Every product follows this pattern.
Average pay per day
- Lower class workers: 1 Crown
- Middle class: 2 to 3 Crowns
- Upper class: 4 Crowns
