Invented Places and Creatures Become Canon

The rule

Towns, villages, rivers, flora, and fauna invented in a story become canon once created, and must stay consistent from story to story.

Why it matters to the story

Stories invent what they need. The usual plants and animals exist, such as roses, daisies, squirrels, and deer, and there can also be species unique to this world.
