Characters From Finished Stories
The rule
Once a story is finished and entered into canon, its characters can be mentioned, nodded to as an homage, or reappear in a minimal supporting role, such as a minor helper or minor mentor.
Exceptions
A later story must not be about them or read as a part 2 of their story.
